English is an international language that has an important role in various aspects of life, especially in the fields of education, communication, and global competition. Good English language skills are one of the advantages that can support one's academic and professional achievements. Therefore, it is important for Indonesian students to have good competence in English to improve their competitiveness at the national and international levels.

English Proficiency Awards (EPA) is one of the activity programs organized by the English Club of Lampung State Polytechnic as a forum to increase insight and add experience for Indonesian students and students in honing their English language skills. This program is designed not only as a competition, but also as a learning tool that encourages participants to be more confident, creative, and critical in using English.

This activity includes various competitions such as Scrabble, Speech, Story Telling, Debate, and News Casting. Each competition has specific objectives in developing participants' skills, such as expanding vocabulary through Scrabble, improving speaking skills through Speech and Story Telling, practicing analytical and argumentative thinking in Debate, and honing professional news delivery skills in News Casting. With this competition, participants are expected to be more motivated to develop their potential in English, while building a healthy competitive spirit.

Through the English Proficiency Awards (EPA), the English Club of Lampung State Polytechnic wants to create an environment that supports the improvement of English language quality for Indonesia's young generation.
